1. Are SOMMER saddles adjustable?

Each SOMMER saddle is easily adjustable. Tree widht, topline and padding ca. always be adaptet to the current needs of the hores´s back.


2. How do i find out how old is my saddle?

Each SOMMER saddle is provided wiht a serial number and so you can identified it any time. The first two numbers of the serial number indicating the date of manufacture, eg a saddle that was produced in 2011, are the first two numbers "11".


3. How do i find a certified SOMMER dealer in your area?

SOMMER offers a wide distribution network of certified dealers and saddleries in Germany and around the world. Selected retailers can be found in the overview. Or send us an email to info@sattelmacher.com, we are ready to help.


4. Can i leave a SOMMER saddle individually my request?

SOMMER saddles are costum made saddle and thus customized to the horse and the rider. This enables us to the desires of the rider to respond and to provide him with the best posssible product. Special requests, e.g. colors, logo, etc., we will statisfy.
Please note that the REMOS saddles line no special requests can be considered.


5. How i treating my SOMMER saddle best?

SOMMER products are handcrafted quality products and should be maintained regularly to ensure that you enjoy it as long. Therefore we offer you a range of products that provide the best care for your SOMMER product.

6. What kind of warranty and services exist on my SOMMER product?

Each SOMMER product goes through before leaving our house an accurate quality control on materials and workmanship, as quality is important to us.

We provide on our saddle following warranty / service:
  • 30 years for the saddletree excluding accident
  • 1 year for possible manufacturing defect of the leather
  • Worldwide service in leading specialist shops


In addition, your local dealer offers more individual meticulously reconstructed. The customer carries the delivery and send out charges for repairs to be carried out under warranty.


7. How do I find the right contact?

Do you have a question about our products, you can contact us any time. Our staff will be happy to advise you. The first contact with saddles issues is your local dealer. There you can consult a competent and experienced too many products locally. The dealer in your area, see the dealer index.
